Wise Program Uninstaller helps you get rid of even the most pesky and stubborn software on your computer. It works much like the standard Windows Uninstaller, but its extra features and Forced Uninstall options make it a good tool to have on hand.

Pros

Smooth interface: Wise Program Uninstaller features a streamlined and attractive interface, which shows all the relevant information about how many programs are installed on your computer and how much space they take up. At the top of the window, you'll see a total for all programs, and the main area of the screen is filled with a scrollable list of programs along with their basic details. There is also a search box in the upper right-hand corner of the interface for finding specific programs quickly.
Extra scan: For most normal software, this app works in much the same way that the standard Windows Uninstaller does, especially when you run a Safe Uninstall. But once the program has been removed, Wise takes the process a step further by performing an additional scan to see if any files associated with the newly deleted program were left behind. Once the scan is complete, you can verify the results to ensure they're not actually files that you need, and then erase them as well.

Cons

Multiple attempts: Some programs caused the app to freeze when we tried to uninstall them, and those required us to cancel the process and begin again. But ultimately all uninstalls we attempted were successful.

Bottom Line

Wise Program Uninstaller gives a great boost to the standard Windows Uninstaller. It's a free utility that runs smoothly for the most part, and it presents features in an accessible way that makes the app useful for people of all experience levels.
